At Metro Driving School, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is extremely important to us.

Because we work closely with learner drivers under 18, including in one-to-one in-car lessons, we are committed to providing a learning environment that is safe, respectful, professional, and supportive at all times.

We expect all instructors, staff, and representatives of Metro Driving School to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and to act in a way that protects the safety, privacy, and wellbeing of every learner.

When a learner under 18 undertakes driving lessons with Metro Driving School, we expect that:

  • all lessons are conducted professionally and respectfully
  • communication remains appropriate and lesson-related
  • learner personal information is handled carefully and confidentially
  • any concern about instructor behaviour, communication, or boundaries is reported and reviewed promptly
  • child safety remains a priority in all parts of our service
